			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have a new job now at a Project Management company as their Business Development Manager.  I will be devoting most of my time to this.   Currently I am at a stage with Clickboards that I really have to write a concrete business plan with an IRR.  I will try to do this in my spare time.  The numbers are already there and it shouldn&#8217;t be hard to put together.  If you have followed me at all, this will be something you don&#8217;t want to miss, it will really show the true effectiveness of Clickboards in the face of all the nay sayers.   Until then go back and read some posts, or at least read the last one I put together.  I want to put together another essay, so that might come soon as well.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well on the plane after writing the last post, sitting in my seat, waiting to taxi, it struck me.  I can make the website, and don&#8217;t need any Java script and I am going to lose all the bells and whistles of the social shopping and networking part for now.</p>
<p>Basic format is a Banner Clickboard on top.   Clickboards down both sides of the page.  And your collected coupons feed in the middle.  There will be a sign in screen, quick tour available, and then there you have it.  Once you sign in, if you can&#8217;t figure out you have to click on something, well blyme that is fine.</p>
<p>Basically you add coupons to your feed by clicking on the Clickboards around the page.  Once added more Clickboards show up.  There will be no need to enter ID in the Clickboards once you sign in.  And one coupon can not be entered into your feed more than once.</p>
<p>The coupons will expire at designated dates or once validated by your phone.  That is where Alvin comes in.  I have to ask him how to configure my back end so that it will integrate with his MMS service.  He said it was all possible but I want to do as much as I can on my own.</p>
<p>This is going to be easy.  I have a limited number of advertisers, so the site at this basic level will work for the time being.  I want to keep it simple like Craigslist.com.  Time to recrack the HTML book for dummies.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I sent Alvin a text before the plane left.   As I landed I saw that he had confirmed our appointment.  That is good.  I got to the office in about fifteen minutes, cost RMB30, unlike what one cabby offered RMB150.  Thank god for the meter.  I walked down the street and found a coffee shop.  Its raining on and off so I&#8217;m glad to be inside and luckily I brought my umbrella after checking the weather before I came.  The lunch was good, rice with escargot and spinach sauce, actually one of the cheapest things on the menu RMB16.  Now that is a change from Tianjin.  Still looks like China except a little cleaner than Tianjin and the traffic is quite reasonable.  Trying not to get to involved with the my office today but they are calling needing things.  Not sure how many minutes I will have, hopefully through the rest of the day.  And the battery on my computer isn&#8217;t going to make it till this evening.  I&#8217;ll have to find another way to entertain myself till my flight.  But do need to get the cover story article done before it quits.  Updating after the meeting.  I don&#8217;t have a lot prepared besides what I already sent him, so I feel prepared and confident so everything should work out well I think.</p>

Six month Outlook<br />
The overall objective is to combine all our medias into one package.</p>
<h1>Newsletter</h1>
<p>With the advancement of our <em>Newsletter</em> we can now incorporate more into this giving more reviews and news that we cannot otherwise in the magazine.  This also allows us to concentrate more on giving deeper information in the magazine that we cannot otherwise in the <em>Newsletter</em>.</p>
<p>The future of the <em>Newsletter</em> is to provide quick promotions to our clients as well as encourage them to interact with the magazine.  For example a current project I am working on is to have <em>Newsletter</em> recipients to write reviews for our <em>Website</em> and to promote our <em>Survey</em> and <em>Subscriptions</em>.  Rewards will be given in the form of <em>Coupons</em> for their participation.</p>
<h1>Coupons</h1>
<p>In the next six months it will become fairly important to collect <em>Coupons</em> and <em>Gift</em> items that we can give away to stimulate activity on the <em>Website</em> and <em>Magazine</em>.  The <em>Magazine</em> will act as the initial stimulus to any promotions we want to promote.  For example at the end of the summer there will be a party (probably at the Sheraton) where we will give away the prizes for the writing and photography contest currently underway.  Prizes have been sponsored by Hyatt Hotel Jing Jin City.</p>
<p><em>Coupons</em> can also be used to stimulate activity on the <em>Website</em>.  Daily, weekly, and monthly prizes can be given away for the most involved.  Other contests we can have include tickets for concerts, dinners for special occasions at hotels, drinks at bars for special events, DVDs and CDs for new releases, talent contest prizes, best weekly news about the foreign community, and more; all of this will be funded by the <em>Magazine</em> promoting these reward programs for the various venues.</p>
<h1>Radio</h1>
<p>We will begin working with the local radio stations that have English hours.  We will invite the people in our focus stories to come to the radio with us where we will interview them on the air.  If there is a band that we focus on in the <em>Magazine</em> we will invite them to play.  The <em>Radio</em> also allows us to <span style="text-decoration: underline;">sell advertising</span> on our show time and to help promote our sponsors and contests.</p>
<h1>Website (jin-emag.com)</h1>
<p>The <em>Website&#8217;s </em>main new focus will be to stream the <em>Radio</em> programs that we create.  Again we can <span style="text-decoration: underline;">sell advertising</span> before and after the streaming of the shows.  We will modify the website to be a true emagazine and we also need to change the name to <strong>jin-emag.com</strong> because Tianjinexpats.com has bought <strong>jinmagazine.com</strong> and this redirects people to their website.</p>
<p>Also using a new service I have found we can sell advertising on other websites for our sponsors that will drive them to our website.  We will promote our sponsors through local advertising on major Internet sites that are frequented by foreigners.  So our <em>Website</em> alone does not limit us to the amount of web advertising we can supply.</p>

<h1>JIN Card</h1>
<p>In the next year we want to work towards making the <em>JIN Card</em>.  This will allow users to redeem any promotions that they hear on the <em>Radio</em>, see in the <em>Magazine</em>, or browse on our <em>Website </em>or the promotions we display through other local online media outlets.  The discounts will be easy to redeem and collect and I want to just bring this up at this point.  The <em>JIN Card</em> will be unlike other cards that only get you standard discounts like 10-20% at participating vendors.  Actually discounts can be quite varying depending on product and time the clients want to put something on special.</p>
<p>As I have recently read, people do respond quite heavily to numbers in the discounts rather than flat rates.  This is a promising market and I believe with the combination of these five factors we can put much greater value into the <em>Newsletter</em>, <em>Magazine</em>, and <em>Website, </em>as well as our <em>Radio </em>portal on the <em>Website.</em></p>
<p><strong>This of course would include my Clickboards especially with the coupons and the redemption process through the Website and using the JIN Card. </strong></p>

<p>From the beginning people are worried I will be copied.  So what, that is just competition.</p>
<p>People say it is too hard to get people to click.  Well isn&#8217;t that already an industry standard.</p>
<p>People won&#8217;t know what a Clickcard is.  If they want the discounts then they&#8217;ll figure it out.</p>
<p>Advertisers are not going to want to switch.  They will if they want to know their customers.</p>
<p>The Clickboard will take up too much bandwidth or won&#8217;t work with other ad utilities.  It is just Flash so it will work just the same as banners.</p>
<p>You haven&#8217;t shown me anything to invest in, your still too much in the infancy stage.  Well if you had two bones in yourself you would see that there is very little capital needed and all that is needed now is some time to create it.</p>
<p>I feel like I have to create something that works for people with no sense at all.  This is not an intuitive idea, it&#8217;s just something that works, and I hope someone will notice sooner than later so I could put together a team and do this.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Wet your tongue and let me start to tell you what a Clickboard is.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is no longer safety in hiding an idea.  As a fledgling it is too hard to meet the right people to make it all happen.  Even if I had all the money I could throw at an idea, making the right people come together to make it come true seems impossible and the time it would take would be too long.  For things to work they have to happen now.</p>
<p>How many times have I invented a new product or come up with an idea that is ahead of the time, for just six months later to see something along the general lines come out or the entire fad to die out and leave me with a useless device in my hands?  So what can you do today?  It is now necessary to tell everyone everything you are doing right when you are doing it.  There is no place to hide and no reason to hide.  If you want to succeed in the future everyone has to know exactly what you are up to.  There is no longer safety in leaving people in the dark.  Things are happening so fast and copyrights, trademarks, and patents are dead devices.  Who needs them?</p>
<p>If you are worried that someone will steal your idea you are probably right.  Why aren&#8217;t you acting on it?  Most importantly, why aren&#8217;t you telling everyone what you are doing and getting their input?  Without the collective masses input, you are a sitting duck waiting to get run over with mass appeal.  Mass appeal doesn&#8217;t come in a box of protection, it comes from shared interest and ideas.  If you have something, share it and see where it takes you.</p>
<p>This is my project, I am going to tell you the future of advertising as it pertains to the Internet, magazines, newspapers, direct mail, television, and satellite radio.  What is the future&#8230;.. it is the <strong>Clickboard</strong>.  Over the next few years I am going to try and get to the top of google, without paying.  If you don&#8217;t know what a <strong>Clickboard</strong> and <strong>Clickcard</strong> are after exploring advertual.com, I will have listened to my own failure, but also my own success as it was not the prediction I expected from the &#8216;media&#8217; (bloggers).  I will do my best to provide you with examples, but I need your input.  This idea will not happen without you.</p>
