Well my theory about the Clickcard is much like what AOL did in the 90′s. Basically the card would be sent to every Internet user we could track down. It would basically be a letter that had a basic description of what Clickboards.net is and what is the Clickcard. These information packs would also be mass distributed outside malls and grocery stores for users to hold onto until they got home in front of their computer.
The cards would all have a numerical code listed on them. The back would have both a magnetic strip and bar code which could be used at point of purchase.
Upon receiving the card they would be directed to Clickboards.net to sign up and register their card. Every step of the way they would be encouraged to use the Clickcard the next time they purchase and the time after that and the time after that. The benefits would be explained as part of the selling technique.
Commercials, online advertising, billboards would also direct people to Clickboards.net where they can register and have a Clickcard sent to them that they have pre-registered for.
This is the greatest expense to this plan, but hey it worked for AOL. And this will probably work until cards go out of style. Then it is just signing up at Clickboards.net or the Clickboards.net Kiosks. Referrals would also play a big part. I really like my idea about the iClickcard in my last post. That really brings the whole thing away from the card entirely. And I guess if you don’t have an iPhone you will be stuck with the card.
